One way we connect and heal is through eating delicious food and building a relationship with it. If we depend on our neighbors for food, that fosters a relationship with our neighbors, and the same is true in our own family bubbles in our own backyards.

Our relationship to the planet as a living thing is strengthened when we garden, when we incroporate thinking about the weather and how it affects our gardens or our food forests and what we might need to do to support them.

When we put our focus on our food, we are more connected to the earth and aware of ourselves as a part of the web of life.

ALSO! Who doesn’t love snacks? Who doesn’t NEED snacks?!

…This is me not waiting for a reply because I already know the answer…

NO ONE, duh. 😉

So let’s hang out and make snacks grow and then eat the snacks and then maybe put some of the snacks in jars for the winter but mostly enjoy things right now because that’s all we’ve got and isn’t it delicious!

What better way to delight in our connection to the planet than food! Join us in the garden and enjoy the feeling of life giving soil in your hands as you brush off a carrot on your way to the community stew pot over the fire… you’ll find a chopping station there where you can pull up a seat to hear a story or catch up with your neighbors while we work together to create a delicious meal, all the while gazing at the garden, thinking about what we might cook up next time.
